Project Examples

For over 40 years PSL has worked on more than 6,000 projects ranging in size and complexity. The examples below seek to provide a flavor of the diverse array of work we do but, of course, can in no way depict the entire range. If something similar to your project isn’t shown below please contact us to find out how we can help you.

Lab Equipment and Research Tools

Small Animal Ventilator Small Animal Ventilator

PSL recently designed, produced and shipped a third-generation ventilator prototype for small animals (primarily mice and rats) for MRI studies relating to respiratory research.

Wolf Oven Testers Wolf Oven Diagnostic Testing Kit

Wolf Appliance is a manufacturer of high-end residential appliances, whose products are sold worldwide. They needed a service technician training module that could be shipped around the world and stored when not needed for training.

Daya Bay Tank Daya Bay

The Daya Bay Reactor Project is a neutrino-oscillation experiment that uses anti-neutrinos produced by two large nuclear power plants located along the coast of China near Hong Kong.

IceCube DOM IceCube

The IceCube project is a neutrino observatory at the South Pole. The project called for the design and construction of over 4,000 Digital Optical Modules(DOM) to be placed at depths of up to 2,400 meters below the surface of the ice.

Compact Muon Solenoid LHC Compact Muon Solenoid

LHC is a particle physics project, where scientists hope to shed more light on the fundamental nature of matter. PSL was responsible for design, integration, supervision, assembly, and installation of the two endcaps for the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS).
