Collimating Slugs for Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Collimating slugs are designed to produce a known diameter spot of radiation at the isocenter of the linear accelerator and attenuate any radiation outside of the spot. The collimating slug has a conical bore with an angle of divergence to match the diverging radiation beam.
