Welcome to PSL

PSL is a research and development laboratory that provides a range of services including consulting, design, fabrication, and calibration services in scientific instrumentation. At our facility south of Madison, which includes state of the art machinery and electronics shops, PSL offers a highly trained staff in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics to address the unique needs of projects of every scale and complexity. From big to small, assistance with concept, design or complete fabrication, or anything in between, PSL offers solutions.

Although we primarily serve as a University of Wisconsin-Madison service facility, our experience in scientific instrumentation and our unique capabilities are available to institutions throughout the world and to the private sector.
