LHC Finds a New Particle

The Large Hadron Collider, using the Atlas and CMS detectors, has discovered a new particle that physicists say could be the Higgs Boson, the particle that gives all other particles mass. The Higgs boson is the missing piece of Standard Model of physics, which explains how the universe works. (more…)
