Botany Reaction Chamber

Friday, April 26th, 2013

This is a reaction chamber built for a lab in the UW-Madison Botany department. An acidic aqueous solution will be drawn into the chamber, interacting with two slivers of pyrite (a.k.a. “fools gold”) that are touching each other. The experiment will be monitored through the glass cover, eventually using infrared imaging.
