PSL wants to help Small Businesses

Friday, April 22nd, 2011

PSL attended the National SBIR/STTR Spring Conference held in Madison at the Monona Terrace April 10th -13th, 2011. This conference helped small businesses prepare for the process of applying for government grants that help them develop technologically advanced products.

Small businesses can apply for two different types of grants, either a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant. The main difference between the types of grants is an STTR grant requires the small business work with a non-profit institution, such as a university entity like PSL. We met a number of people who are interested in the work that we do at PSL, and we look forward to possibly working with them in the future.

Below is a picture of our booth at the conference.
