The PSL physics group has experience in a wide variety of physics-related fields including lasers, optical and infrared system design, microwave and millimeter wave systems, precision measurements and calibration of angles and distances using laser interferometric techniques, high voltage and high power design, high speed analog electronics, X-ray production, measurement and shielding, magnetic simulation, alignment of optical and other instruments, and plasma diagnostics.
