Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Astrophysics/Astronomy, Florida Institute of Technology

Adrianne's areas of expertise include:

  • Modeling complex 3-D assemblies using Pro/Engineer, Solidworks, AutoCad and Mechanical Desktop.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis using Ansys

In her current position at PSL Adrianne has used these skills to:

  • Design beam pipe support, mechanical shielding, and radiation shielding for the Compact Muon Solenoid.
  • Design beam pipe installation structures for CMS.
  • Modify the laser adjustment system for CMS.
  • Design a radiation shielding door and a bridge crane for the new cyclotron vault for the Medical Physics Department.
  • Design a compressor sled for the Ram Drill for the IceCube Project.
